How to unpack your new door

Your new door will be delivered by courier.
It is very, very, heavy.
It will take 2 strong people to carry and un-pack it.

DO NOT sign if there is any serious damage to the packaging.

Please inspect the door immediately when it arrives.

Ask the driver to return the door if it is damaged.
You must then call 0191 - 2514893 or send an email to inform us.

If you do not refuse delivery of a damaged door, you will have to pay to return the door at a later date.

Be particularly careful when un-packing.
The
door is covered with hardboard on all edges.
You will need a sharp Stanley knife to cut through the sticky tape from around the edge of the packing.

1 -  Lean the door against a wall
Use stepladders - cut through the tape along the top edge with a sharp Stanley knife

2.    Cut all the way down the two sides

3.     Make sure you have enough room for the outer board to lie flat.
