Acid etched glass
Also known as frosted glass
and etched glass.
Various techniques are used to etch glass.
The glass can be exposed to
hydrofluoric acid.
Ground glass can be fired onto the surface or the glass can
be blasted with a fine grit.
Hand Obscuring, the process of grinding the surface of the glass, with a fine
grinding paste.
The glass surface becomes opaque because of the thousands
of scratches.
Looks and sounds easy but you can get a sweat up.
