Hand Obscuring, the process of grinding the surface of the glass, with a fine grinding paste.
The brilliant cuts are below the surface so remain bright and polished.
The glass surface becomes opaque because of the thousands of scratches.
Looks and sounds easy but you can get a sweat up.
