Our roundels are made the traditional way - by hand.
Molten glass is gathered on a pontil rod and is spun between two graphite
boards.
When the desired diameter is reached, the rondel is broken off the rod and
allowed to slowly cool in an oven.
The making of rondels is highly skilled, and due to the manual production
process, each piece is entirely unique.
Colours may show differently on different monitors and printers
Light green, olive green and dark green spun roundels
Hand-spun roundels were very popular in
Victorian stained glass and leaded lights
